Gas Works Park...

Oh the things we do for our kids! We have been meaning to take a trip to Gas Works Park for quite some time...when we were already in the area & the sun was out with some wind in the air...so, today was perfect! Adam has been wanting to fly his kite "just like George" (Curious George, of course!) So, here we are...Kevin & John making the big attempt...and does Adam seem to care?! He was too busy rolling down the hills, running up and down the paths and waving at me! HA! I guess his interest would peek if they ever got the kite up...no luck today! (Kite flying seems to be a bit of an art...many others were out there trying and had no luck either...but there were the few who obviously did this often, "the pros", who seem to just get it up in one try!) We still had fun & enjoyed the beautiful day and views of Seattle...we'll be back to try again!
