The Over the Shoulder Lambie Holder...
Ava's newest invention...The Over the Shoulder Lambie Holder...aka...Mommy's bra makes a good small animal carrier! Ava thinks she is pretty funny!

Another GREAT Family Day!
Today we headed up to Husky Stadium to watch Spring Practice...Adam was so excited to see Jake, especially sporting his new Jake Jersey (thanks Poppy & Gramma)! No cameras allowed inside...so here Adam is outside the stadium!
Off to Gas Works Park we went...we had SO much fun last time, we couldn't resist...that, & Adam asking to go back every day this past week! It was a VERY windy day, which was perfect...and there were a lot of kites being flown...up, up & away!
Sadly our kite took a turn for the worse and is now a broken kite. So instead, Ava picked flowers...
& Adam rolled down the side of the hill...
And to continue on with seeing all the stops "Pete & Larry" make in their book...we spotted the Lake Union houseboats across the water...
Then we watched a bunch of sea planes land...
& Adam climbed to the top..."I did it!"
What a fun day we had!
Off to Gas Works Park we went...we had SO much fun last time, we couldn't resist...that, & Adam asking to go back every day this past week! It was a VERY windy day, which was perfect...and there were a lot of kites being flown...up, up & away!

A GREAT Day!...
Today we headed to Discovery Park with Samar, Thom, George & Clive...what fun we had...thanks to our great tour guides!
Down to the tide pools we went...the kids & Dads were very busy with all the sea creatures to explore...
It was so sweet...George wanted to go, look, do whatever Adam did...so a pair they were!

Ava is quite content doing her own thing...and today was no exception! She was very busy making mud tracks, playing with the sand and just being Ava away from all of us!

Look at the storm coming in on the right... 
After a stop at Hale's Brewery and saying good-bye to the Herrmann Family...we still had some energy to burn...SO being that we were so close to Fremont, we decided to stop by and visit the troll. Every night these days we read a story called..."Larry Gets Lost in Seattle"...about Pete & Larry (a boy & his dog) and their adventure of visiting Seattle for the day...the Fremont Troll is one of their stops, so we made it one of ours today...the kids sure liked that! (As we were walking away, Ava said..."Bye Giant"!)
Pete & Larry also make a stop by the statues of people in Fremont waiting for the bus...so, we did too!
At this point we were still very much enjoying our family day and weren't quite ready to drive home yet...and since we did have our kite with us...why not go to Gas Works Park to see if we could get it to fly?
We were there for about an hour...we had SO much fun! Kev was so excited & proud he got the kite to fly, Adam loved flying his kite with his dad, Ava had too much fun stomping around in all the big water puddles, and I just LOVED taking it all in and watching my sweet family. A lot of smiles all around! And it was quite the gorgeous evening too!

Our Professional Egg Dyer...
Adam took his egg dying very seriously...outfit and all! Busy at work...

The missing egg?? There was one casualty...Kev couldn't resist eating it right up!
