Crossing the Tacoma Narrows

Today we took the long awaited (well, Kev has been wanting to since about February...but I made him wait until it was warmer & I was no longer pregnant!) walk across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Something we felt we should do as Gig Harborians! We felt a bit touristy (is that a word?) taking photos, but did so to have proof that "We did it!" We used our new HUGE double stroller (Thanks Nana!) for the first time...& loved it!

We then went and relaxed on the beach down below the bridge...

All Dressed Up!

We got Ava all dressed up as we stopped by the Hospital & Doctor's Office to thank them for the fabulous jobs they did in bringing our sweet Ava Jean into the world!
Adam said Ava looked "Cute"...love it!

The two nurses we had were just excellent...and since we figured they see a lot of patients, we took a photo of our family to help them maybe remember us along with giving them a "Hurley" shirt for a treat. (Notice we are all wearing Hurley shirts in the photo...I know, it's a little much...ha!)

Allison & Liz made the trip down from Vancouver to see our charming little town of Gig Harbor...it was so fun having them...Thanks girlies for coming!

Happy Father's Day Kevin!

We spent Father's Day at Scott & Annie's home in Issaquah...we had a wonderful time & I even invited ourselves back for sunny summer days...they have a fabulous yard, with so much going on! To say the least, I loved it!

Ava is Smiling!

We have a smiler! In her 5th week...Ava is smiling! (Same timing as Adam!) So sweet! Adam's New Helmet...which of course must be worn at all times when driving the laundry basket! (I think we need to tighten those straps!)

Adam has come to LOVE watching movies...here he is showing us his moves he learned from "Happy Feet"...a little foot work top off with a spin! I know this picture doesn't necessarily capture the movement...but that smile captures the moment!

Captain Adam

The Anderson Family (Erik, Kathryn, Ingrid, Brent & Kathy) rented a house boat in Gig Harbor for the weekend...and Adam, to say the least, LOVED pretending to drive it, along with pushing ALL the buttons! Sadly, this is our only picture from the weekend...sorry not to have taken any with the Andersons! I guess I got lazy! Or just forgot! Oops!
