Sunny Day...Finally!

Today was our last & only sunny day at Lake Cushman...it sure was gorgeous!

We promised Adam a mohawk (or as we like to call it...a mohawkie) last year, but didn't come through until this year...and writing this post now, a week later, it's already gone...Mama couldn't take it any longer!

Ava ran into the kitchen and said..."Come on Mom, it's our song, let's dance!", as Browned Eyed Girl was playing in the living room...to say the least, my heart melted!  So, we danced...& I had to capture the moment!

Another fabulous trip to Loon Lake!  Oh, how we love it!  Thanks, as always, to the Lemberg & Cronin families!  (And you wouldn't know it from my pictures (oops!), but the Herrmann family was with us too...what fun!...Samar, send me some photos!)  Until next year...

Back to the Lake!...We LOVED our trip to Loon Lake SO much last year, we couldn't resist coming back again this year! 

Of course, Adam remembered I promised him last year that I would get him his own fishing pole this year!  Adam & Luke...

Adam caught about 6 fish in the first 15 minutes we were there with his new Spiderman fishing pole...

Of course, if Adam was getting a fishing pole, Ava wanted one too!  Surprise, surprise...she picked a pink one!

Ava's 1st fish!...Nice job Jelly Bean!  (The rest of the weekend she preferred her Dad to do it for her!)

It's not often both kiddos are smiling so cute & looking at the camera...& when they do, I'm blinking...grrrr!

We've got a Bike Rider...

It will go down in the record books that today Adam learned to ride a bike with no training wheels, thanks to his buddy Lucas!  We were at the Maharry house, when Adam came in and said..."Mom, come outside & look what I can do!"  And off he went...WOW!...So impressed & proud!  When I asked him how he first tried it, he said..."Lucas held the bike for me!" 

Watching him ride...you would have thought he's been doing this for years! (With the exception of a few tough falls, of course!)

Ava is just about the age Carolyne was when she wore this dress for our wedding!  Looks like...Like Cousin, Like Cousin...size wise!

You know they are tired when...

Preschool Festibal!

Today was the Preschool Festival...or as Adam says "Festibal" (When I try to correct him, he tells me, "Mom, it's hard for me to say some words, because I am missing my two front teeth."...oh, how this kid makes me laugh!)

End of Year Preschool Celebration!

Today Adam had his LAST Preschool performance.  He continues to make us proud...and keep us smiling!

Happy Birthday Mason!

Today we headed north to celebrate Mason Sams' birthday at the fire station...what fun!  Between preschool field trips & "Uncle Dan the Fire Engine", as Adam likes to call him...Adam has seen & done a lot, but today was his first time behind the hose...oh, did he like that!

Back to the Sams' house for a little BBQ & cake...all the kids gathered around Mason to sing "Happy Birthday"...& I couldn't resist snapping a photo of A & A from behind as they watched Mason...oh, the love they have for each other...we feel so lucky & thankful!
