Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...Take 2

Here we go...again! After a week long of "talks" about going to get our Christmas Tree...we were successful! And had fun too! According to Adam..."The perfect tree!"

Nudie Nighty Girl!

Ava obviously wasn't tired tonight when we put her down at bedtime...as we heard a lot of little noises coming from her room. When we finally decided to peek in on her...we found her as a nudie! Off came the pj's and the diaper (as you can see on the floor)...We were just happy there was no "mess" to clean up! (& look at that belly!)

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Today we headed to our local Gig Harbor tree farm to get our Christmas Tree. This is our first year as a family cutting down our own tree...Kev & I were very excited to start this tradition...the kids, not so much! Adam LOST IT from the moment we got there! (He wanted to get our tree from the local market we got it from last year.) We tried to push through (see photos below), but we finally hit the point where we just left...WITHOUT a Christmas Tree...maybe another day?!...maybe another year?!

At least Ava is happy (for now!)...Adam is off to the side screaming...too bad there is no audio!

We tried so hard to make it fun...oh well!

Adam was so proud to wear his hat he made at Preschool...he said, "Mommy, do you want to take a picture of me? I'll go stand on the fireplace and you go get your camera!" No joke...I guess we have that routine down! And look at that smile...love it!

Special Person!

Today Adam was the "Special Person" at Preschool...he was SO excited! And, as "Special Person" he gets to bring something to share (aka...Show & Tell) with his friends. A couple weeks ago, we were looking at his baby pictures & he saw a photo of when he was a baby & Carolyne took him as her "Show & Tell" to Preschool...so Adam said he wanted to take Ava! (& he told his friends..."Just like Carolyne took me when I was a baby!" He was SO proud!) Too bad Ava wasn't in the mood to be "showed"!

Ready for Winter...

Adam told me he "is ready for winter!"... And so is Ava...

Homemade Haircut!

Kevin has finally convinced me to let him give Adam haircuts...so, here we go!

Adam is in his smock in the garage & is ready! (& quite excited!)
Adam likes getting his haircut & he liked it even more that Daddy was doing it! (Except, towards the end...Kev was trying to perfect it & Adam was getting antsy!) Ava found this all to be quite amusing! (I told Kev to stay away from her hair!)

A Visit from the Richards...

Kevin, Jaime & sweet baby Ainsley headed south to watch the Husky game with us. What a happy girl Ainsley is!...And too cute in her Husky polo!Ava loved the "baby"...she especially loved giving her hugs (& kisses too!)!
