Our Christmas Tea...

Our 8th annual Christmas Tea with the girls...always makes for a good time!

Summer in December!

We headed to the beach to spend a day with Christy & Jack...Wow, what a beautiful & hot day! Christy & I had the thought...if we didn't have the kids (& she wasn't pregnant!)...we would have laid out to get a tan...we wouldn't have been the only ones!

First we took a stroll down the pier & watched people fish...
Ava & Jack just chilled!

Then Poppy treated ice cream & Adam had a hard time keeping it on his cone! (Poppy & him still picked it up, put it back on and ate it...yuck!...HA!)

Yummy...ice cream off the ground! 10 second rule...right?! (Only if you are a kid...or Poppy!)

Then fun in the water...remember it's December!

Who wants to wear a wet, heavy diaper, anyway! (It never occurred to me to bring his swim trunks!)

Ava LOVED the sand! She picked it up & just let it sift through her hands...

Carolyne & Adam had sooooo much fun...until it was time to dry off & go home!

Adam & Ava's 1st Bath Time Together!

Adam & Ava had their 1st bath time together...being that we are on vacation & it's what worked! They had a ball!

Capturing the Moment...

We had our good friend Jason (along with his stunning assistant, Danielle,...also his wife and also our good friend!) snap some photos of the kids to capture this precious time in their lives. It was definitely a challenge to say the least! Last time we had pictures taken it was just Adam...it's not until you have more than one do you realize how easy just one was! Trying to get Adam and Ava to smile together was not an easy task...and they both had their moments. Then we threw Carolyne in there and Adam didn't want to share his sister. Adam didn't want to really do anything cooperative that day!

With all that said, Jason was still able to capture some of those fun moments...more of Ava (which is what I really wanted anyway...ha!). So, here are my favorites...

Off to Wine Country...

On Boxing Day, we were off to Wine Country, just a bit beyond Santa Barbara in Los Olivos...what a gorgeous day it was! We had a great day! (But we are also still wondering why Dad didn't come with us...such a goof ball!)

Our first stop...Gainey...just GORGEOUS!

Christmas Morning...

Good morning! Merry Christmas! And our 1st White Christmas (Well, not Kev's)!

Adam excited to see if Santa ate his cookies and drank his milk (before he even looks at his new toys...ha!)...well, Santa ate all but the last cookie, he took just one bite...he must have gotten full!
Now for the toys...

Wow, Santa got Adam a rake to help Mommy with all those leaves!

Ava was too busy having fun under the chair to bother with her stalking!

Okay, now she is ready...

Adam liked Ava's new phone...surprise, surprise!

And last, Adam decided to help Santa out & finish off the last cookie!

We better finishing packing...off to California to see Poppy, Gramma, Tini, Bill & Carolyne...yeah!
