Today we felt very lucky to have Melissa, Lucy, Owen, sweet baby Violet, Samar, George & Clive come down to the Gig & spend an afternoon with us at our favorite Bella Bella Beach!  Adam & I couldn't get enough of holding baby Violet!

And then we must say 'goodbye' to the lake for now!  Thank you, thank you, thank you, as always, to the Cronins, Lembergs & Herrmanns!  We LOVE this time with you!  So, until next year...

Back on the Lake...

We're back & we are loving it!  First on the kiddos agenda, as always...fishing!  Ava got a new & more kid friendly fishing pole this year & was excited as ever to try it out!  First catch...a CATFISH!!  Wow!...What a catch!  (Rumor is they haven't caught, or even seen a catfish in the Lake in 20+ years!)  Nice work Ava...or as we now call her...Ava Jean the Catfish Queen!

Our very creative Ava found the hole punch, asked for some yarn or string & then after being busy (& quiet!) for quite some time came & showed us her masterpiece!  She said she was..."Knitting, like Grandma!"  Great job Aves!

We had lots of gorgeous dahlias at Trader Joe's & I just couldn't resist getting a bunch of our wedding flower (in our colors!) in honor of our 9th Anniversary...Love you babe!

Busy Beach!

Madison Park was the place to meet up with Nana & the Hurley Clan to swap back all the kiddos...who knew it was going to be such a fabulous day...which meant for a busy beach scene in Madison Park...literally it was body to body! (The picture doesn't even seem to capture how many people there were!)  When the sun comes out in Western Washington...so do the Washingtonians!

'Girl's Weekend' with Nana...

Nana wanted to have her grand-daughters for the weekend for some girlie time...off to the 'Beauty Shop' and out to lunch they went!...What fun!
