Let's Bowl, Let's Bowl, Let's Rock & Roll!

Today we celebrated Chase's birthday at the bowling alley...what fun we had!

Ava LOVED it! Every time she threw her ball...it took a REALLY long time for it to make it down the lane, but she watched it and watch it & once it finally hit a pin or two, she threw her arms in the air, jumped up and down & yelled "Yay"! Too cute! (However, I think her favorite part of bowling was the shoes!)

There was a trophy to be won by the family member with the best combined score of two games...YES, I was the champion!

Today we were heading north & couldn't resist stopping at Gas Works Park to enjoy yet another gorgeous day & another chance to fly our kite!

Ava & Bedtime...

Just because Ava goes to bed easy...doesn't mean she goes to sleep! Many nights after we put Ava down, we can still hear her...she always stays in her bed...she just pulls her toys & books into her bed with her! Well, tonight when we went to check on her on our way to bed, we couldn't help but laugh (& take a couple pictures!)...

Kevin insisted I took the side angle to show the height of her stacks!...

Ready for Take Off...

Today we headed north to celebrate Blake's Birthday...what fun! Jodi is my Martha Stewart of friends...from the invitation (which resembled a plane ticket) to the activities, decor, party favors and more...she thinks and does it all...which makes for a very fun airplane making & flying party! (Check out her blog...under "Our Buddies..." Blake & Charlotte...02.13.2011 to see the whole party layout...very impressive! Mind you she is my only friend that has two, yes two blogs (The other is By Guess & By Gosh)...I am always very impressed!)

Ava Hurley Jean...

Ava & Mommy were invited to Sydney Smith's darling Cupcake party...just the girls...oh, how we liked that!...Especially Ava...or as she calls herself...Ava Hurley Jean!

Happy Birthday Adam!

Today is Adam's 5th Birthday! (Well, according to Adam, he turned 5 last week on the day of his party, so today he is turning 6! Nice try!...Stop trying to grow up so fast!) Of course we went to his favorite place to celebrate...the zoo! (And brought along his buddy, Evan.)

You fall asleep with a lollipop in your mouth! For Adam to fall asleep mid-cartoon, especially when it's the Wild Kratts!...He was tired!...Sweet drooling dreams!
