A Truly GREAT Dawg Saturday!

What a great day for us Huskies! It's been a LONG time since we have had these feelings of excitement & jubilation & WE LOVE IT! It was SO fun to be at the game! I actually had tears of joy when we made that last field goal...but still SO nervous giving USC 3 seconds left to score on us! And when that last tackle was finally made...EVERYONE & I mean EVERYONE was jumping with JOY...WOW, what a feeling! And a little extra sweet being from Southern California! GO DAWGS!

The "Sea of Purple" begins...

After, OSU beat USC last year & watching all their fans storm the field...my Dad & I chatted afterward and wondered..."Will we ever see a 'Sea of Purple'?" We would have never dreamed it to be this year with our own game vs. USC! We're seeing it, Dad, we're seeing it...& we are loving it!

It was even so fun leaving the stadium...as we walked down the ramps, a few would start "Woof"-ing & all would join in and it just echoed so loud...ha! I think a lot of us were still in disbelief & shock, yet feeling so happy & giddy...again, not a feeling we have had in quite some time!

This was actually a half time photo...but even more excitement for the day...all of our seats are just so close this season...which makes for better half times...chit-chat-chit-chat!
Well, the Sark era has begun & WE ARE LOVING EVERY MOMENT! It's still so early, with a long way to go, but it sure feels good to have this excitement for Husky Football again! Go Dawgs! Woof!

Ava seems to be imitating Mommy's trips to the grocery store...shopping cart, purse on arm and 2 little munchkins (Elmo & Curious George for Ava)...the only difference...I'm not this excited about it!

A & A...

Every morning Adam is the first to hear Ava wake up (no surprise, as I do have my dad's hearing...scary!) and he loves to run in there first to say "Hi Ava! Did you have a good sleep?" And then Ava reaches over to hug him! Today, I was prepared to capture this sweet moment! Then they snuggled while watching their morning cartoon with their morning milk...similar to those of you who need your cup of coffee & chance to read the newspaper to start your morning!

To end the day...a bath together...love those buns!

To say the least, these two sure love each other & love doing things together!

Adam's 1st Day of Preschool!

Today is Adam's 1st day of preschool! He has been so excited to go since we signed him up last January...but the nerves seem to have come out yesterday, as all day he said he didn't want to go. When Kevin went to tuck him into bed last night, he said he couldn't go to preschool because he didn't know how to draw a dragon! Ha! He's never even mentioned drawing one before! But off he went to preschool this morning looking so sharp!


To say the least, Adam LOVE, LOVE, LOVED preschool today and can't wait to go back tomorrow! I guess all those worries of knowing how to draw a dragon have left us for good! When we were there today, Adam turned to me and said..."Mom, this is so much fun!"

Adam & Ava LOVE their new cardboard house! The before... And the after decorating job...looks great!

A Halloween Sneak Peak...

Adam's choice for his Halloween costume...Iron Man! He LOVES his "muscles"! He has looked at a catalog of costumes daily for the past 3 weeks & this always seems to be the favorite, even though he has never seen Iron Man before...and then when we saw it at Costco, it was a must! I figured I better post a photo now, as who knows if it will last until Halloween, which yes, is still 2 months away!

Kevin's Biggest Nightmare!

From the moment we found out we were having a girl, this has been Kevin's biggest worry!
